Who is Amy?...
Amy is the fictional character provided to the four Bachelor of Primary Education students mentioned above (Katie, Petra, Jessica and Ana) in the form of a four part scenario of a new gradate teacher. Amy is a new graduate teacher who, after completing her Bachelor of Primary Education, attained a full time job at Park Hill Public School. PHPS was located in a public housing estate community, with the school being one of the most socially disadvantaged suburbs of Sydney. She felt confident and buoyed to begin with, but this soon faded when she encountered numerous obstacles in her first weeks as a teacher.
